We can’t wait to see you! \n\n\n\nJoin us for our hugely popular Wine Tasting and S’mores event. We hold them from 4pm until 6pm every Friday and Saturday during the months of September and October as well as Labor Day. We light the bonfire right at 4pm when we close our gates for the day\, and gather around the fire to enjoy clean crafted wine\, s’mores\, and quality time. The warmth of the fire and the mountain air make it a perfect way to end an autumn day in Oak Glen!\n\n\n\n

Click HERE to register for this week of summer camp. \nActivities will include: \n\nNature Scavenger Hunts\nArts & Crafts\nFarm Activities\nStory Time\n“How To” Lessons\nOutdoor Playtime\n\nAll of our activities for the day will follow the theme/topic of that day. \nLearning Topics can include\, but are not limited to: \n\nFarm Animals\nFlowers and Bees\nGardening with Vegetables\nComposting\nFarm to Table/Permaculture\n\nWhen we have the kids help with Farm Activities\, they will learn about a variety of things that happen daily on the farm. They will help take care of our miniature donkey\, miniature horse\, miniature pig\, hens and rooster. Our counselors will be right there with them as they learn how to feed\, groom\, and clean up after the animals. \nA part of Farm Activities also includes tending to the garden. The campers will learn all about weeding\, watering\, seeding\, transplanting and composting. We will teach them why all these individual things are important for a growing garden. Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty! \nWhat You Need to Bring: \n\nPacked lunch\nWater Bottle\, with name on it\nSunscreen (please apply before coming up)\nBug Spray (optional\, please apply before coming up)\nHat (optional)\nBackpack\nClose-toed Shoes\nChange of Clothes\n\nIn addition to the lunch your child brings\, we will provide a variety of healthy packaged snacks for everyone. \nAge Groups: \n\nSeedlings: Ages 4-6\nSprouts: Ages 7-9\nLittle Farmers: Ages 10-12\n\nEach group will have a max of 10 campers so we can safely distance ourselves while still having fun! \nAll programs are a week long\, Monday through Friday. \n\nHalf Day program\, 9am to 12pm: $200\nFull Day program\, 9am to 3pm: $325\n$15/hour for extended care\n\nEarly drop off at 8am\nLate care until 5pm\n\n\n\nIf extended care is needed\, please let us know when registering or email us at willowbrookfarmer@gmail.com and tell us what day(s) and what times are needed.

SUMMARY:Apple Update - Weekend of October 10th
DESCRIPTION:After the fire at Los Rios destroyed their main structures this past week\, we made the decision to donate our proceeds from this past weekend to help them rebuild. As soon as we put up the sign stating what we were doing\, we had people go back into the store to purchase more because they wanted to do their part in helping our community. We had other guests say they made the trip up because they wanted to support the Oak Glen community after everything we went through with the Apple Fire and then the El Dorado fire. Our hearts were filled with joy and overwhelming gratitude interacting with all of you – THANK YOU! \nHowever\, we walked around on Monday to see how many apples were left on our trees…after the overwhelming support we saw this first weekend\, the answer is a surprise even to us: not many. We spent the morning taking stock\, and trying to determine a course of action for those of you that were so looking forward to coming out later in October. We will try to open and host you all this coming weekend\, but we have limited apples remaining. Every year is so different with our crop and the number of visitors we have early in the season\, so we really appreciate everybody’s understanding. \nWe do expect this next weekend (maybe even early Saturday AM) to be our last weekend open for u-pick apples BUT we will continue to be open for u-press cider\, caramel apples\, full-service BBQ\, and of course meet and greets with our animals through the rest of October! If you do want to pick apples after this next weekend\, we hope you will consider supporting Los Rios Rancho\, whose u-pick fruit operation is open on the North Side of their farm. Afterward\, we hope you will come say hi\, press some cider\, and enjoy a caramel apple with us! \nOur Wine Tasting and S’mores event continues to be super popular and a ton of fun. We will continue to take reservations for this event through our website. We sold out for both wine tasting events this past weekend\, so if you are interested in attending\, we recommend making a reservation soon. These are family-friendly events and really is the perfect way to end a day up in Oak Glen! \nThank you again for your understanding and support. We are so grateful to still be here to welcome you all this fall season. Due to COVID\, we are offering our guests the ability to purchase a reserved time-slot by pre-purchasing one bag of apples for their group so that they can come right onto the farm at their designated time and not stand in line. DESCRIPTION:We open our u-pick during the month of October\, and will remain open until we run out of apples! Due to COVID\, we are offering our guests the ability to purchase a reserved time-slot by pre-purchasing one bag of apples for their group so that they can come right onto the farm at their designated time and not stand in line. You do not need to purchase a bag for every member of your group\, only one bag per group in order for your group to be admitted at the separate entrance. Once on the farm\, you will have the opportunity to partake in our other offerings such as u-press apple cider\, u-pick berries\, and a meet and greet with our animals. \nWe encourage everybody to read our COVID policy in advance so that they are aware of some of the measures we are taking to ensure the safety of our family\, staff\, and guests. We appreciate everybody’s understanding as we navigate these unusual times as a small\, family operated business. DESCRIPTION:We have our wine tasting and s’mores event every Saturday and Sunday in the months of September and October from 4-6pm. Advanced purchase required. Use THIS LINK to purchase tickets on Eventbrite. \n  \n\n\nOur first events of the fall are LIVE (and will sell out). Please reserve your space now. We can’t wait to see you! \n\n\n\nJoin us for our hugely popular Wine Tasting and S’mores event. We hold them from 4pm until 6pm every Friday and Saturday during the months of September and October as well as Labor Day (Sept 7th). We light the bonfire right at 4pm when we close our gates for the day\, and gather around the fire to enjoy clean crafted wine\, s’mores\, and charcuterie pairings. The warmth of the fire and the mountain air make it a perfect way to end an autumn day in Oak Glen!\n\n\n\nClick the link below to purchase your tickets. Please make sure you select the correct day. Also note that if you would like a charcuterie box to pair with your wine\, you will need to purchase your tickets at least ten days in advance. The charcuterie boxes and s’more packages will be individually wrapped with your name on it.\n\n
